Hi! My name is Missy and I'm new to blogher, and I'm so glad I found it. What an incredible resource. I've found so many cool places to visit through here!
I'm a housewife and mother of five. I try to keep a sense of humor and have fun. I live in a great neighborhood and love blogging about my life.
I'm not only new to blogher, I'm new to blogging. I just started my blog two months ago, but already I love this new form of expression.
My blog is called, Missy's Big Fish Stories. I post reflections, pictures and illustrations, recipes, a little poetry, anything that captures my imagination.
I hope to meet more women bloggers like me through blogher. See ya around--I'll be stopping by!

I love your post about health insurance problems - I wonder if it will ever get fixed?

Thanks!
And thanks for stopping by my blog!
I HOPE our health insurance problems get fixed. Our government may be going further the other way with Medicare right now. I'm just hopeing that's still around when I'm 65.

You do realize that 65..
is NOT the age where you will retire and draw full SS and Medicare, don't you? If you were born in the 1950s, your full retirement age will be some where in your 66th year. If you were born after 1960, at the moment your retirement age will be 67.
I fully expect that to rise even higher.

Yeah (depressed sigh). I guess I knew that. But will Medicare even be here then?
Surely there are better minds in this country than mine that can work on this problem.
(Brightly) Maybe by the time I'm 65 I'll be able to afford to purchase my own health insurance.
