Now I'm blogging about my blog?? (and, The Introduction)

I think, by registering on this site, I've achieved the ultimate height of ridiculousness with my new blogging obsession.

But y'all have too (obviously) if you're here, so I feel somewhat more comfortable.

It's not just Blogher, so please don't be offended. In the past 24 hours I've figured out how to syndicate, added Feedblitz subscription capabilities, and become obsessed - I mean POSSESSED - by that groovy Sitemeter.

Thing is, I'm not sure why I think people have an urge to hear what I have to say. It's possible that I'm finally indulging my passion for creative writing and it's all a bit heady at the moment, like that great first beer out of the keg.

But more likely I'm procrastinating doing my real job. Which, ironically, is writing.

I'm a freelance journalist. I have two young girls and a husband. I live in rural Wisconsin. I love blogging.
