Quarterbacks Tom Brady and Eli Manning will renew their rivalry today and a lot of fans will be debating both their positive and negative qualities. Who is smarter? Who is more experienced? Who threw more yards this season?

While Manning has the edge in their on-the-field matchups, leading 2-1 including a Super Bowl victory four years ago, both are capable of engineering a win.

Even though the New England Patriots are technically favored to win Super Bowl 46 according to Vegas oddsmakers, the New York Giants have faced far more difficult opponents in their past few playoff games and are playing more dominant football of late

First things first:  Which quarterback is more popular? Over the past 30 days on Google, more people have searched for information on Brady – including top searches for his stats, UUGs endorsement, and his wife.

Manning, however, appears to be a big hit with the ladies. Search Engine Watch reports Yahoo searches by women spiked 268 percent. Meanwhile, Yahoo searches for “Eli Manning girlfriend” shot up by 1,201 percent and searches for “Eli Manning wedding” increased by 308 percent.

Overview: Manning may be playing the best football of his career, while Brady struggled in his most recent game against the Ravens as well as in his past few playoff appearances. Manning has been cool, calm and mostly mistake free since the Giants got on their winning streak.

 

Tom Brady

Birth Date: August 3, 1977

Height/Weight: 6' 4" and 225 lb

Position: Quarterback

College: Played college football at Michigan and was the 6th round pick in NFL Draft 2000 by the New England Patriots.

NFL: The New England Patriots quarterback has won three Super Bowls: in 2002 against the St Louis Rams, in 2004 versus the Carolina Panthers and in 2005 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Stats: 300 TD passes, for a total of 39,979 yards in 12 seasons in the NFL, and has a quarterback rating of 96.4.

Overview: Everyone knows "Tommy" Brady.  He’s married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, has won three Super Bowls and two Super Bowl MVP awards. In fact, Brady has won more Super Bowls than any active quarterback. He has only lost five times in the playoffs and has 16 wins. He has also engineered more fourth quarter comebacks than any active quarterback.
