The Obama Rally, Education and Caroline Kennedy

I have a lot of video on the rally held at UCLA on Sunday in support of Barack Obama. One of the supporters of his campaign is Caroline Kennedy. Caroline does not endorse candidates very often. In fact I think this is the first time in my memory that she has done so on a national level.

In this clip she offers her reasons why she support Barack Obama. Some of those reasons include support for early childhood education and financial support for college; which in this case means $4,000 for tuition provided you render service to your community.

Folks my technique was a little shaky during recording so for those with queasy stomachs I offer a audio version of the video.

Authentic Education is a group blog but one of the post caught my eye, the one having to do with early childhood education and parental involvement. I had I tripod but couldn't use it. The steps were too narrow and the people too close. Every time they did the earthquake stomp affirmation it knocked me out of alignment.

I know folks are getting sea sick. I'm looking at the Manfrotto line and the much cheaper Monpod group for DV cams.

I'm going to post the rest on BlogHer hopefully tomorrow as one master lists. I learned a lot about shooting in stadiums and crowds. Two things I normally avoid.
