ObjectsBlog Travelogue: the world through the eyes of a designer.

Objects Blog (objectsblog.com) brings a fresh perspective to travel.  With her keen eye and engaging writing style, designer Pamela Peterson shares the photographs and stories of her adventures around the world.  Her readers tag along as she discovers the baths of Budapest, the flea markets of London, the coffee houses of Prague, and the hidden gems of Paris.

Along the way, Pamela finds treasures the rest of us simply pass by.  In the blog, find her “stories” of journeys and encounters, her “daily posts” of quirky sights she stumbles across, see her stunning “style moment” photos paired with inspiring quotes, and save her “don’t miss” recommendations for hotels, restaurants, products and unique attractions. She’s recently added “weird but wonderful,” where a captioned photo tells an interesting story, even if we don’t always know what it is!

Pamela has contributed her talents many interesting places—she left her Minnesota home to strike out for New York after a stop at Yale to earn a master’s degree in design. She designed costumes at Saturday Night Live (The Church Lady!) and worked for Martha Stewart in several capacities, including the television show, where she won an Emmy for the current set design. Since, she has designed homes and hotels. But her love of travel and unique finds around the world led her to her latest adventure-- Objectsblog.com.
