As I post this, I am struck by the fact that there doesn't seem to be a science topic at BlogHer. Does it just fall under technology and research?

But you are correct there isn't a category for science. As our free tagging functionality evolves more posts will have the tag and you'll be able to search for and find them that way. In the meantime thanks for pointing us to your post!
