One Eyed Man and Richard III

Christmas Day.  I got to the movie theatre before everyone else, balked at the swelling crowd and ran out of the theatre.  I sat on a bench for a few moments, contemplating leaving altogether…  I’m always looking for an exit from any situation.

A man with one eye and a swollen, beat up face approached me and said hello.  I said hello and then he got all menacing and did everything but get on top of me, so I ran back into the theatre, my buddies arrived, and that was that.

Gran Torino is a hell of a movie.  I recommend it highly.  I had no idea Clint Eastwood was this amazing.  I'd always had a mental aversion to him, based on nothing.

We snuck into Valkyrie, also good but depressing as shit, I hadn’t known what it was gonna be about.  Tom Cruise’s character only has one eye in it; I like little synchronicities like that.

My friend Bruce and I are working on a scene from Richard III.  Shakespeare is a bit of a departure for me, but the more I read it, the more excited I get.
