[Editor's Note: The way we watch our shows is changing - faster than we ever anticipated.  What's up with New Media Distrobution?  Digital Chick TV breaks it down. -MS]

So, as you may have heard, people watch lots of stuff online. In fact, they watch so much online that many people no longer even have cable. Because it’s like expensive. And we’re kinda in a recession. That makes cable companies cry. So what happens? Networks (like FOX) then pull back their online distribution of existing TV shows so cable can stay in business. After all, they’ve been BFFs for a long time.

I am still on Cable...but I have taken my workouts online. So using the internet for another reason. I take kickboxing, Yoga, and Spin classes live online everyday. I love @www.emglivfitness.com. So much easier.

We use Roku and a TiVo, although most of the stuff we want to watch on HuluPlus only streams to the computer and not the TV. If I'm feeling really impatient, I'll stream individual episodes from Amazon. But really, we hardly watch TV anymore.

All tv, all the time. If I watch on my computer I end up surfing away...

I use both. Some shows are just better on a bigger screen, but since I like to watch Frontline and Deadliest Catch in the bathtub sometimes, my laptop does the job.

Personally I prefer to watch shows on TV. All comfy on my sofa snuggled under my blankie (& with my hubby if it is his night off).

I will watch online only if I missed a show and don't have the look-back option on tv or they don't show it 10 times. I just don't have the comfort level at the computer and I have a 42" tv screen which is much nicer than the 21" computer screen.

I don't have t.v. either...so everything is Roku or online. Works fine for me...doesn't seem to suck me in the same way regular t.v. did.

Do you Roku? We watch mostly on our TV, but through our Roku, which is web-based, so we get our Netflix and Hulu Plus on our TV. We ditched cable completely and now just pay for broadband.
