Only 202 days, 10 hours, and 31 minutes til Christmas!

I have not yet taken my girls for their first swim at the pool; nor have I watched fireworks bursting on the night sky; nor have I enjoyed a big slice of watermelon. Nope, summer is just getting started, and I look forward to each and every day.

But Hobby Lobby (my favorite store. Well, it's in the top 4 behind Target, TJ Maxx, and Gap outlet) has decided that I need to start preparing. Preparing for the crisp autumn days that are ahead.

Then after 2 aisles of fall decor, I came upon this:
Christmas ribbon. And there were more aisles being cleared out of garden decor to make way for much more Christmas. Who buys Christmas decor now?!
I love Christmas. In December. And November. And maybe even October. But I tend to be sort of "scroogey" about Christmas in June!
Anyway, onto more summery things, like this pineapple that is an absolute necessity for my home. I want it, I need it, and yet, somehow I walked away. My yearly garage sale is Saturday, so maybe if I get rid of enough old junk, I can bring in some new junk like this pineapple.
