Ovarian Cancer: Teenage Breakthrough?

This 15 year old created a test to detect ovarian, pancreatic, and lung cancer. It costs THREE CENTS. Why is this on TedWeekends, and not all over the news?
If his test is accurate and true, this could be a breakthrough for two of the deadliest cancers out there: pancreatic and ovarian. The reason they're so deadly is because they're so damn hard to detect in the first place, so by the time it's found the disease is out of control.
I'd love to see this kid progress his research to major outlets, and I fervently hope it's not buried under big pharmaceutical money. He's so right: the internet is a powerful tool, and too often we waste it. I'm impressed and inspired, and I had to share.
