If you're not careful, blogs have a way of taking over your life. Between the writing of posts and the promoting of posts falls reading everyone else's blog post and commenting too. And then there are the Facebook threads and the Twitter chats and the blog hops... and you suddenly realize that blogging is using up every spare second of your day.
As Fabulous Blogging says,
Holy crap I had no idea what I was getting into. This is a freakin‘ full time job!
No kidding. Blogs are time sucking monsters that never rest, are always hungry, and threaten even the most efficient of us.
So what is a burned out blogger to do?
Fabulous Blogging has a list of tips to ensure that you have your blog instead of the other way around. From creative scheduling tips to pointing out the obvious -- don't mentally commit to write more than you have time to write -- it's a post worth reading whether you're just starting out or have been writing your blog for years. It's especially timely as we head into the BlogHer conference, and people wonder what to do with their blogs while they're away spending time with other bloggers face-to-face.
What other time-saving tips would you add to her list to keep a blogger organized?
