[Editor's Note: Good Day, Regular People had such a great time at this year's Pathfinder's Day before the BlogHer conference that she has already signed up for next year's Pathfinder's Day. It's a way to make a very large conference feel small as well as a way to create meaningful connections. I'd love to hear more people's thoughts on Pathfinder Day. --Mel]

BlogHer '11 was my first blogging conference. Some have asked me if it was overwhelming to attend such a large conference, especially as a first time attendee.

I am able to honestly answer that I never did feel the largeness that the numbers of BlogHer '11 would suggest (4,000 attendees!) and I know the reason for my feeling at ease: it was arriving a day early to BlogHer to attend Pathfinder's Day.

Did you attend Pathfinder's Day? Will you sign up for next year?

I truly feel PFD was the most important time I spent at BlogHer.

Without PFD, I know my experience would not have been as easy of a transition as it was.

I got my feet wet, and was ready for the grand launch of 4,000 attendees.

And, yes, I do have my PFD pass for 2012 ordered.

@GDRPempress Ummmm. So I didn't sign up for it because I thought it was a sponsored day involving Nissan's Pathfinder. @BlogHer #clueless
