Pay Attention to Boobs!
By Jennie Pone on August 25, 2013
Hopefully my headline caught your attention. I'm talking more about designers and retailers... While fashionable clothes look good on skinny models, the majority of the times, those same models have small breast, so the clothes look good on them because of the fit.
But for ordinary women, sometimes our boobs get in the way of shirts and blouses. I wear a size small shirt, but due to having 2 kids, my breast are large, so I'm often left slightly exposed in the chest area. So the solution, I have to buy the next size up, which is baggy on me.
Apparently, the InStyle editors recently launched InStyle Essentials, a collection of chic, white, button-front shirts using TrioFit, a patented sizing system that allows women to shop by bra size, ensuring a nearly custom-fit.
The only shirts to be sold by bra size, the InStyle Essentials "Perfect White Shirt Collection" is available in 30 sizes ranging from 32B – 40H for about $60 each. The collection launches with three styles:
I'll be honest, the only one I really like is the tunic and the bow bouse. The classic button up looks like every other shirt I've owned and I don't have room for another one. However, the tunic is super cute, and the bow just catches my attention. I feel like I can style the bow for work or a classy event.
Next step for me - I need to get one of these shirts and test our the "TrioFit" sizing technology and see if it holds up to their claim.
