Peace from Broken Pieces by Iyanla Vanzant

"When you do not believe that who you are is good enough, you will compare yourself to others... comparisons are a form of violence. When you believe you are not good enough, you will compare yourself to others...When doubt is present in you consciousness it indicates a more profound problem. The real problem is the personal lie. Everone has one: it is a story we tell ourselves about who we are and what we do and do not deserve in life."
If you've ever heard of Iyanla Vanzant or know of her, and want to know more, here's where to start. Her personal journey through the pieces of her life. I can identify with her story, my own journey feels like a series of "train wrecks" which have taken their toll on my emotional and physical well being.
All this brings me back to my core belief of why we are. That each of our own personal journey is to learn our way through conflict to grow into the person we are ultimately meant to be. We each have a personal struggle to overcome to find our own happiness and well being.
