Perfect Peanut Butter Fudge
By The Modern Mrs. on January 05, 2014
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking and cooking beloved recipes with family. I typically have a baking night with my mom and one with my mother in law also. My mother-in-law makes some of the most amazing peanut butter fudge. Seriously this will be one of those recipes everyone asks you to share. Its still close enough to the Holidays to make a few sweet treats, right?
2 1/4 cups of sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 oz. evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
In medium saucepan bring sugar and milk to a slow boil stirring constantly.
The moment the boiling starts, reduce heat to low and time for 6 minutes. Continue stirring consistently through this whole process.
Pour out onto cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Allow to cool in the refrigerator for around 2 hours. Slice into squares with a knife and store or give as gifts!
