Kai vs. the Spider Plant

This week has been busy & I haven't gotten out much. So there wasn't much to write about.Here's a very amateur video of Kai the cat, of her hopes & dreams to annihilate the hanging spider plant. The spider plant is not poisonous to cats or dogs, but it can upset their stomachs if they ingest it. Plus I just wanted to do something silly that didn't require much brain power. I can still remember the first time I saw my dog Molly. It was August 29th, 2006. She was in pretty rough shape, with some medical issues that needed attention (and let's face it, money), but as soon as her paws hit the floor, she was like a toy who had been newly wound up. Goofy and playful, running all over the place, jumping up and trying to give kisses. And she opened up a place in my heart that I never knew existed before (and yes, I realize what a cheesy line that is, but it doesn't make it any less true). I think that's the beautiful thing about adopting a pet. That symbiotic relationship. You may be rescuing them, but they rescue you right back, in their own way. ...more

Thank you to our fur-babies for giving us practice on being up all night with an infant!In the past 12 hours, 1) Seamus and Skylar dug into the cat litterboxes like it was Old Country Buffet (GAG)2) Skylar horked at 3am due to upset stomach from their buffet3) Seamus had an accident at 4:30am due to medicine he's on.4) Cats sat on each side of us and meowed at 5:30am because they were hungry.Oh ma God!
