Picking up the Pieces

Losing a job can be devastating and the hardest part is to begin picking up the pieces.

During these times, the best thing to do it to reach out. Ladies, we have perfected this. Men, however, are still falling behind. But reaching out is so important because those connections will be able to share their personal stories with you, give you pep talks and increase your confidence.

At first, it maybe hard to tell people that you were laid-off or fired, but you just have to face your fears. It will be painful each time you say it, but I promise it will get easier.

For inspiration, go back and look at your brand board. If you don’t have one, now is the prefect time to slow down and really take time to think about what your passions are and what you really want.

So again, I say it’s OK. You and your brand can handle it! Just remember to reach out and connect.
