So I brought my son to the Doc to ask about finding out for sure if he has any food allergies or is Lactose Intolerant or something else..
First things first, we've to rule out or confirm Lactose Intolerance.. by these means 0
Putting him back on a Lactose Formula (NOT looking forward to the screams that will surely follow) and when he has a big runny up the back poo - which he will - we have to take a sample of it, put it in the little sample jar the Doc provided me with, and get it to Temple street Hospital with it within 2 HOURS so they can test it! What??! I have visions of me running into the hopsital like an eejit (crazy person) waving a sample of poo and shouting frantically that it has to be tested soon before it's too late!!
Ok, well hopefully it will all be a bit more dignified than I'm picturing it! :-)
I don't know what I hope - half of me hopes it comes back clear, but then half of me hopes it comes back positive so I don't have to worry about it being something else.
Fun times ahead :-)
