Power Packed Sweet Chia Pudding/Dip

Just like many other health nuts I’ve been a sucker for chia seeds for quite some time. It’s an ancient superfood of the Aztecs. The tiny black seeds are packed full of vital nourishment. They have Omega-3, protein (3g per tablespoon), antioxidants, and fiber. And maybe I’m weird, but I enjoy the texture they add to things. It freaks some people out — I get it. But give it a shot, you might fall in love.

I added a few of my other favorite superfoods into this sweet pudding/dip. Hemp seed, flaxseed, organic honey and cinnamon. There is a lot going on for such a simple recipe. My time is precious and so is yours, that doesn’t mean we should neglect our bodies and turn to quick fixes for food. You can eat this on its own or dip fruit in it. I don’t really care what you do with it, I try not to have too many “rules” in my life. This is also a sneaky way to trick newbies or stubborn kids to eat a healthy snack. My future children will be eating this, mark my words.


What you need:

1 1/2 cups of Plain Greek Yogurt

2 Tablespoons of organic Chia Seeds (Brand: Nutiva. GMO free)

1 Tablespoon of organic honey

1 Tablespoon of Hemp Seed.

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1 Tablespoon of Flaxseed

And theeeen….

Mix all of the ingredients together. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Drink mimosa (required). Cut up fresh fruit. Indulge.
