[Editor's Note: While cash is a great idea, I can tell you that I blew all of my high school graduation money on a series of concerts that summer before college. Nancy at Just the Right Things shares some great ideas, from gift cards to physical gifts, that will be great for a teen heading off to college.
Extremely Practical Gifts for College Bound High School Grads:
For many of us the cash/gift card route feels uncomfortable. We’d like our graduation gift to not be part of a cash slush fund. Here’s a list of useful, practical items all college students can use:
- Towels (make sure they are good towels that absorb, there’s nothing worse than a towel that repels water.)
