Tonights prayer dear Lord is for peace....

I need the kind of peace only you can give me!

My heart and soul seem in turmoil so often anymore...

People who hurt me....people who should love me...

My heart breaks....my soul cries out for peace!

Only You my Lord....my Savior can bring me this kind of peace!

Only you can heal the pain and help me move on....

I know you love me....Your love should be all that I need!

And yet I allow the pain of a broken heart and spirit to consume me...

No matter who it is that hurts me....I give them over to You!

No matter how deep the pain....I give it over to You!

I don't want to hold on to this anymore....

Please take this pain from me and fill the void with Your love!

Fill me with love and compassion for the others suffering from this pain...

Help me to reach out to them in Your name.....

Let me use the experience of this pain for You!

And never let me forget it is You and only You....

Who can take this pain and make it something useful...

Dry my tears....strengthen my heart...and use me to LOVE ALL...

As You love all!
