Pre IVF Mediterranean Diet

Hey everyone!   Today I would like to share with you some studies that 
have been done on Fats and IVF Success! Worth a serious effort as this is a healthy way of eating and creates good habits!  This diet is not only limited to IVF patients but all woman trying to conceive.

Studies have shown a higher success rate with eating a Mediterranean Diet prior to IVF to enhance 
egg / embryo quality 
 

 

 
 
Woman who eat monounsaturated fat found in Olive Oils, Nuts, Seeds and Avocados in high amounts were 3.4 times more likely to have a successful round of IVF.  
 
Woman who ate mostly saturated fats found in Butter and Red Meat produced fewer good quality eggs used for fertility treatment.  
 
Polyunsaturated fat consumption produced the poorest quality embryos
