Pregnancy as First time to be Mummy
by Kikoo

Dear Readers,

I would like to share my feelings & experieces that I am going through now. My husband and I have married for two years and we planned to have our first baby in this year. So we made our efforts to conceive in this year and we are successful. Thanks for our parents who have given us good health!

Most of women aware that if they have missed their menstrual period and it is a possibility due to pregnant or work stress which causing a delay. For my case, I was not aware of my pregnancy because due to my heavy workload on that month and had caused me over-stress. I did not have morning sickness but just feeling lethargic.

In the past, I had experieced over-stress which caused my periods delayed for a month. So I think this time might be the same. I tried to relax myself by jogging and doing chores work during weekends to reduce muscles tightening especially in my neck and shoulders due to longtime hours sitting in front of computer.

The following days, I feel easily tiring and keep yawning and often go to washroom at night. So I tried to reduce water intake before sleep to avoid wake up in the midnight. Besides that, I feel easy hungry before lunch-time. The following weekends, I feel my energy easily being exhausted and just like to have a nap and sometimes having fast heart-beat although I was at rest.

I told my hubby about my health issue and worried if I will have sudden heart-attack. We decided to see doctor. I was told that I am pregnant for about 4 to 5 weeks. My hubby and I are so excited about the news. I was eager to make announcement to my parents, siblings and relatives. However, I did not do so because I learnt  from my colleagues' experiences and also read some magazines about pregnancy stages.

I try my best to get more knowledges about pregnancy from library books, magazines and Internet. I am learning alot and feel benefited from them. I count myself very lucky as I did not have morning sickness. I am healthy but underweight woman and I can't imagine if I have it and the danger that I might face it. During the 3 months of pregnancy my weight has gained 2kg which I consider happily.

Cheers always!

Congratulations!

I am a mother of one, and about to add to the family, as we are expecting another this year. All of the symptoms you feel are very normal, especially the fatigue :) It gets better into your second trimester. There are some wonderful communities out there on the net, one of my favorites is: www.ivillage.com  Congratulations again!

Congratulations to you and your husband too
:)

Now I am going through my second trimester and my fast heart-beat symptom has disappeared.
