Presenting exercise minutes over calorie counts?

What would you think about fast food/chain restaurants displaying the exercise times needed to burn off that cheeseburger and fries you just ordered? Would it dissuade some to order something with less calories if they knew they would have to walk 2 or 3 hours to burn the food off?
The 2010 Affordable Care Act has made it a requirement for chain restaurants that have over 20 locations nationwide to visibly show the calorie counts of the food items, but has that worked? It doesn't seem like its really doing the job. I guess people will eat what they want to eat, despite the dangers of too much fat or sugar or salt.
This research study conducted asked 300 men and women between ages 18 to 30 to look at menus displaying calorie counts vs. exercise minutes required to burn off the food and some interesting results were discovered. "This study suggests there are benefits to displaying exercise minutes to a group of young men and women," author Meena Shah, a clinical associate professor of kinesiology at TCU, said in a press release. "We can't generalize to a population over age 30, so we will further investigate this in an older and more diverse group. This is the first study to look at the effects of displaying minutes of brisk walking needed to burn food calories on the calories ordered and consumed."
If this study results in a restaurant requirement, it would seem that chain restaurants are at least moving in the right direction. It would be most helpful though if they assisted more with portion control and limiting amounts of sugar, fat and salt -- but, that's another story....
