Pretty Woman's 20th Anniversary and Redbook

The movie Pretty Woman is having a birthday -- the big 20 this year. Hard to believe. Was it really that long ago?
I saw in this month's issue of Redbook that they were celebrating the anniversary with a fashion shoot. Each image remade some of the styles from the movie. They showed shot after shot of styles she wore.
Did anyone else remember she was a hooker in that movie? So, do we want to look like hookers now, 20 years later? I thought we were going for equality and the strong professional image?
