Pumpkin Pie Sugar Scrub

It was another rainy day here in Texas thanks to Tropical Storm Manuel! We desperately need the rain, so even tho the weather put a kink in my plans....again, I won't complain!
I wanted to share one of my favorite fall beauty must-haves today. It's my super-easy Pumpkin Pie Sugar Scrub! I love this stuff. I have horribly dry skin and as winter approaches it just gets worse. This scrub is my favorite way to combat dry, cracked skin. It's also better than anything you'll buy in the store, it's made with all natural ingredients, and it smells sumptuous!
Yes, I love that quarterfoil pattern so much I have labels and coordinating ribbon!
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c white sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp all spice
1/3 -1 c coconut oil, almond, avocado, or even evoo can be substituted.
In a large mixing bowl, combine sugars and spices until well mixed together. Starting with 1/3 c oil, stir until mixture reaches the right consistency. You don't want it to be runny, just damp to the touch.
Moist, but still has texture!
This recipe is enough for you and a couple of friends. Place scrub in a jar with a tight fitting lid, print out a cute label, and pass it along to some of your favorite girlfriends! This scrub will last in the fridge approximately 8 weeks. If it even lasts that long!
The sugar does a great job exfoliating dry skin, while the oil keeps you moisturized. Use it all over, especially focusing on hands, elbows, knees, and feet.
I'd love to know if you give it a try!
