It's your call
If you're comfortable posting them in both places, then we are comfortable with that. I would recommend you do what our Contributing Editors do which is place "cross posted at _____ " at the top of your post so folks are aware that you've put the content in more than one place.
I think if it were me, it would depend on the post. I'd sometimes do a teaser and link off to the "real" post on my blog, other times I'd probably want to do the whole post on BlogHer. But I'd take it as a case by case thing.
