Questions about editing profile?

I saw another thread about profiles but it didn't seem to answer my question, so I apologize if this is a repost. In the public view of my profile, it only shows about 100 characters of the bio I entered on the 'edit profile' tab. Is this normal? When I was editing my profile on the 'public profile' tab, I entered a paragraph and I can see this when I view my own profile, but if I log out and then view my profile as anyone else would I can only see the fields from the 'edit my profile' tab such as the tags and snapshot, and about 100 characters of the bio I entered on this page. Is there a bug, or am I only allowed 100 characters?

Also, what do the tags do? Can I use them to find other members with similar interests?

And finally, this isn't profile-related but is there a Blogher RSS feed i can put on my blog?
