I started this blog because it came with the website I use for my class. For the better part of a year it sat almost empty, until a few months ago. I decided to challenge myself, if I am asking my students to write, really shouldn't I be doing the same. I better understand the concept, the more your write the easier it gets!
My blog really is just random musing that keep me (and apparently some of my friends and family) entertained. I have also included ramblings about my travels, the occasional thoughts on books I have read and photos (I love my camera and playing around with it is a pass time I did more often).

When looking for oneself it is very helpful to look in the right location. I, having looked in the wrong spot (name) just resubmitted my blog to the wonderful people of BlogHer, only to find myself (where I left me) no more than 10 minutes later. I am so used to the URL of my blog that I frequently forget the actual name of the blog (there is a reason I call it Ramblings of an Empty Mind!). I somehow feel just a little bit more important, and perhaps connected, now that I have found me.
