Reach Out Tour Dates Announced
by Kristy Sammis

As you may have heard, we are taking the BlogHer Annual Event on the road!

Following BlogHer Business in April and BlogHer '08 in July, we will be bringing six, one-day conferences to cities along the East Coast.

Each conference will include a full day of programming and conclude with a cocktail reception. And while the agenda will be similar from city to city, each event will be unique in its mix of content, speakers and attendees (so you can feel free to join us at as many different locations as you want!).

Boston...........Saturday, October 11
DC..................Monday, October 13
Nashville........Thursday, October 16
Greensboro....Saturday, October 18
Atlanta.............Tuesday, October 21
New Orleans...Saturday, October 25

Registration will open in March, but we encourage you to mark your calendars and let others know you'll be there!

*Excellent* dates! :)

As I mentioned here, I'd love to volunteer in some capacity on this roadtrip - and those dates would work perfectly for me!

So, anyway, the offer's still there.

Thanks for the offer!

Thanks, Koan -

I'll put you on the list and be in touch a little sooner to the event dates. :)

Boston Hurrah!, But, that's Columbus Day
Weekend

I know most of the country is going Coumbus Day Weekend???? So What?
Actually, it is a big deal in the North East. There's no school the following Monday and many schools give the kids Friday off via teacher education days.

I'm beyond thrilled you are coming to Boston, BUT attendees beware, if you want a hotel room start thinking about booking soon. At that time of year New England is dressed to the nines in fall colors and is a popular tourist attraction, so it can be hard to find a room at a decent rate.

Can't wait!

BlogHer Hotel Room Blocks

Hi Reesie,

Thanks for posting this. Along with our venue search (which is on full-swing), we will be offering attendees discounted room rates at the hotels where the conferences will take place. Hopefully we won't sell out and will be able to offer attendees reasonable room rates!

sounds exciting, should I go to Nashville or
Atlanta?

I can't get to BlogHer in SF, but this seems like a good way to wade in slowly. I live in Chattanooga, so Nashville or Atlanta are both doable. Looking forward to more information.

Looking forward to participating

I'm so excited that you're coming to Boston - my home town.

Don't see how to register.  Please advise.
