Hi! My name is Erin and I am the voice behind Read, Eat, Create. Here is a little background of how I got to my current blog.
I started blogging back in October of 2011 and it was a home decorating blog. I couldn't find my niche through that blog and I always felt like I was comparing myself with all of the other beautiful decorating blogs out there. I decided to take a month long break to regroup and throughout that time I re-established my blog with the current name Read, Eat, Create.
I have been married for just over a year ago and when I got married, I barely knew how to cook. I have found over the last two months that keeping a blog really has encouraged me to cook more since that is initially what I wanted the end result to be. My readers depend on my to deliver them beautiful pictures and recipes and they hold me accountable for cooking which keeps me striving to do better.
In addition to learning how to cook through my blog, I also include book reviews of books that I read and am slowly dipping into the crafty world of DIY. I plan on sharing various projects in 2013 that I have been working on recently and can't wait to see how my readers react to them.
I am very active in the blogging community and have sponsored Erin from Living in Yellow and Michelle at The Vintage Apple in the past. This month I will be sponsoring Casey at The Weigands, Katie at ...For Lauren and Lauren, and Kelly at Eat Yourself Skinny. All three of these ladies I have admired for quite some time and I cannot wait to see what comes from their partnership.
