Real Christian Girl: Sex and the Ministry
by RealChristianGirl

As Christians, we spend so much of our time worshiping perfection that it is had for us to tell others about our imperfections. We spend so much time projecting to unbelievers stereotypes that we forget we are human.

I want this to be a forum and a voice to the things we hide or feel that we have to drop at the door before we enter our church.

Other then Anne Lamott I can not think of a Christian writer, or Christian for that matter, that talks frankly about who they are, what they have seen, and what they have done.

I am not perfect.  This blog is for me to unashamedly talk about myself and my life.  I will not hide my imperfections, opinions, and humanity.  I want to talk to you about friends, life, love, sex, gluttony, betrayal, and joy.  I want to tell you everything brave pastors tell other pastors and never show to the mass populace.

For me to write this blog bluntly I have chosen to do so anonymous.  I will also change the names of the people I talk about.  If I put my name on what I am about to tell you I would get fired from my church, kicked out of my seminary, and shamed.

I am a twenty-something living in a big city in the Midwest.  I’m finishing a degree at a seminary.  I am a licensed minister preaching and working with youth.  I also moonlight as a barista at a coffee shop.  My greatest aspiration in life is to be a writer.  I am not a great editor, so please forgive me if my grammar and spelling is not polished.

I invite you on this journey of honest soul barring.
