It was a wonderful Thanksgiving feast at a beautiful house with a great group of people. I usually don't eat carbs at night and I try to avoid sugar completely. However, Thanksgiving presents a special opportunity to give myself permission to let it go for a moment. It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the traditional gluttony. Fortunately, most of the dishes were on the healthy side - the yams were baked in the skin to perfection. (Why does anyone think something needs to be added to yams?).
This morning the scale revealed a 2 pound gain - not unexpected
So today I have exercised more than usual. Fortunately I have a good ratio of lean muscle mass from regular exercise which will also help me to burn off the 2 pounds more quickly.
