We all love to have our hard surface floors look spectacular and clean
but there are times where we can have little accidents and get stains
on our floors and there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is when
we use the wrong corrective methods and end up making the stain bigger
or worse by damaging our floors. Here are a few stains we tend to get
on our hard surface floors and methods that help remove these types of
stains.

Alcohol Beverage Stains
To remove alcoholic beverage stains on hard surface floors you need to rub
a dampened cloth in a solution of warm water and detergent. If this solution
doesn't remove the stain rub it again with a different dampened cloth but
with denatured alcohol.

Blood Stains
Often when someone in our home cuts themselves we get blood stains on
our hard surface floors and sometimes they're difficult to remove. The
best way to remove blood stains is to sponge or mop the affected area
with cold water. If for some reason the blood stain is still there use
a solution of ammonia and cold water to mop or sponge the area again.
One of the two methods definitely will work.

Note: Carefully read and follow the label directions
for using ammonia or any strong chemicals when working with them. Be very
careful and make sure there is ventilation when you are using solvents.
Never use them near a flame. When testing your floor with new cleaning
methods you want to be very observant, to make sure you're not causing
damage to your floors.

Gum or Candle Wax Stains
When you have a candle wax or chewing gum stain the first thing you should
do is freeze the material to brittleness with ice cubes. Yes, just how
when we get gum stains on our clothes we use ice cubes on our floors we
may use ice cubes too. This causes the gum to get stiff and become much
easier to remove by scrapping it off. Scrap the material off with a plastic
spatula after the material is hard. But be careful when using a plastic
spatula because you want to make sure you don't scratch your floor. When
using it be very careful as you scrape the stain off. This method is one
of the most effective when removing gum and candle wax stain on your hard
surface floors, yet you need to be careful because it may cause damage
if not done correctly.

Candy
Removing candy stains is a difficult task and sometimes we are forced
to use abrasive applicators which are terrible because the last thing
we want is to scratch our floors. However, before we take abrasive action
