The Return of the Sitcom
By christine_marie on October 29, 2012
If you ask me, television has been seriously lacking in really good sitcoms since the fall of Friends. I still cry watching the finale of that show. This fall, there are two new sitcoms that have honestly taken me by storm. I'm obsessed and the best part is that they both have non-conventional relationships! We're finally getting more comfortable with the idea that a boy and girl is not the only pairing that there can be. Ok, I promise that this isn't a tangent post. It's more like a rave about why I love these two new shows, Partners and The New Normal. The characters have amazing chemistry and the episodes are beautifully written which is totally expected from the producers of Will & Grace (Partners) and Ryan Murphy (The New Normal). If you appreciate the classic sitcoms from the 90s then you will definitely appreciate these two shows.
