Robert Allen's New Color Pigment Collection
By Design Perspective on February 13, 2013
With the weather starting feel a little like spring here in Houston, it only seemed perfect to do a post on Robert Allen's New Color Library Pigment collection. Robert Allen is celebrating 75 years of color and 30th year of color library collections, and this collection is perfect for celebrating, with bright hues and bold patterns.
This vibrant palette is inspired by the pure pigments in the artist's studio, and is on trend, but with a nod to the classics. This collection encompasses colors that make a statement and speak to your sense of style. One of the main colorways introduced in this collection is Robert Allen's 'Viridian', a luscious and vibrant green, which is spot on with Pantone's Color of the Year, Emerald.
This collection is full of jewel tone colors as well. Rich bold colors will brighten your space and add a little pop!
Also, "this collection reflects two key trends--tone on tone and pattern on pattern,” remarks Robert Allen Vice President of Design Christy Almond.
