Not to date myself, but let's just say I DO NOT remember the wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer. I do however have chills forming on my legs remembering the style, grace, and all-around dreaminess of the late Princess Di. She was a real girl, and she grew up to be a Princess. I mean, how often does that happen, ladies?
Apparently at least twice in a lifetime. Three decades later, we know that the fairytale wedding that captures the attention of the world had a tragic ending, and yet, here we are...watching with eyes and mouths agape as Diana's handsome oldest boy, Prince William -- the man who made my childhood dreams of growing up to be a princess possible ~ is having a royal wedding to a beautiful, graceful, stylish commoner all his own.
...Oh you should have seen me as a kid when I realized there was a Prince who was my age and HOT -- this was before the receding hairline - sorry Wills, not doing it for me quite as much these days...but I digress.
Anyway -- I thought a good gauge for where we liberated subjects stand on Royal Wedding 2.0 would naturally be to check out the merchandise. And I'm not talking about the corporate merchandise. I'm talking about putting your blue blood, sweat, and tears into commemorating. Naturally - I turned to the always-mind-blowing Regretsy first. They did not disappoint:

WHO WOULD DO THIS TO THEMSELVES AND EVERYONE WHO SEES THEM!?
{via Beautylish and of course, Regretsy}
And then there's the twitter insta-classic, Royal Wedding Pizza

Okay, yum -- I guess.

GE's "Dream Fridge Design" contest on Facebook yielded that must-have for any anglophile.
What's the weirdest (read: greatest) Royal Weddingabilia you've stumbled across? Do you remember the last royal wedding? (I mean the real one -- not the Camilla Parker Bowles one.) How does the insanity compare?! And WHO THE HELL WOULD BUY THAT FRIDGE?
And finally....myself and some of the other lunatics who share their wit and wisdom with you from time to time here at BlogHer Entertainment have decided to pull and all-nighter and live tweet this bad boy.
