Sabrina Modelle is the girl behind the tart. The Tomato Tart, that is. A web designer by day, and a food blogger by night, Sabrina has lived a rich and varied life even that of a front woman of a touring rockabilly band. Being a first generation American born to a family of food loving Frenchies, “á table” was always an important phrase in her lexicon. She didn’t take to the kitchen; however, until she was 12 when a lovely copper omelet pan caught her eye. Since then, she’s spent every spare moment dreaming up lovely concoctions for eating and serving to the people she digs. Sabrina eats, lives, and loves in San Francisco’s Mission District where she finds continuous inspiration in farmers markets, specialty grocers, local ethnic markets, and restaurants from the chi-chi to the sketchy. She has been blogging since September, 2010, and her work has appeared on Jerusalempost.com, Missionlocal.org, Care2.com, and in the Green Market Baking Book by Laura C. Martin.
