Saint Patrick was a man of God who came to Ireland...to teach the pagan Irish of Jesus and His saving Grace...and used the 3 leaf shamrock as a model for the Three in One God...The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This man was real!! check it out for yourself!! He was not about drinking green beer or little leprechauns, but about a young man stolen from his home land England (Wales) and sold as a slave in Ireland. 7 years after serving as a slave God showed him a way to escape and he found a ship to take him back ... But God sent him a vision of the Irish pleading with him to "come and walk among us again". He preceded to finish his schooling and prepare to go back to Ireland to preach the good new to all of Ireland. Thus, Patrick established over 300 churches in the rest of his life, libraries and centers of learning. This was about 300 A.D. Over 1,700 years ago!! Later in the following centuries his followers (Followers of Jesus) established centers of evangelism and learning in Scotland, England, France, Switzerland etc. Thank you Jesus for the ministry of Patrick!!
