If anyone wondered whether Sarah Palin had the judgement and experience to be "a heartbeat away from the presidency," the last few days should have cleared up the confusion.
Would any other mother who gave birth to a baby with Down's Syndrome go to work just three days later, as the world has learned she did?
Would any other mother subject her unemployed, unwed, pregnant teenage daughter to international scrutiny in the pursuit of her own career advancement?
Would any other mother set an example for her children by using her public office to hassle a former family member, as she is alleged to have done?
No, these issues don't have anything to do with international relations, national security and the US position in the global economy. But if she shows such poor judgement running her household, how could she be expected to do any better managing America?
If Palin actually wants McCain to win, she should jump off the ticket as soon as possible.

Cindy McCain has more experience
I just heard Laura Bush extolling the virtues of Cindy McCain, who in the last 8 months has more foreign service experience than Sarah Palin.
And more than Senator Obama
If we're going to go there, then let's go there across the board. :-)
