(VIDEO) Sarah Palin and Christine O'Donnell: Two Peas in a Pod?

BlogHer Original Post

If you feel like you've been seeing a bit more of Sarah Palin these days, don't be confused -- you may just be catching the newest Tea Party darling, Christine O’Donnell. O’Donnell has been a regular on the news cycle since winning the Republican Party nomination in Delaware's special senate election.

WILMINGTON, DE - SEPTEMBER 14: U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell talks to reporters after voting in the Delaware primary September 14, 2010 in Wilmington, Delaware. It's no surprise, however, that O'Donnell won the primary, considering the rousing endorsement she received from Sarah Palin. Though it seems to me that the endorsement may have been for hair and make-up as well her place in the U.S. Senate. The physical similarities between the two women are obvious, as seen in the many online photos of Palin and O’Donnell side by side, but they don’t end there. You can see traces of Palin in O’Donnell in many of the speeches and interviews she’s done. The two women's speaking styles are uncanningly similar (I can make up words, too).

Check out this recent clip of Sarah Palin speaking at a Tea Party Rally, and then compare with some clips of O’Donnell.

To quote Jon Stewart, "The Palin is strong in this one."
