Saying Goodbye to Picnik

"Why would Google do such a thing," you may ask? Greed, my friends. Greed. Google has purchased my beloved Picnik and is transferring a few of its incredibly awesome and addicting features to its less than popular social media site, Google Plus. Picnik's cult following has accused Google of stiff arming people into a social media experience that they just do not want. I have to say, I agree with this sentiment.
Between texting, emails, Twitter, Pinterest and, of course, the powerhouse that is Facebook, who needs another social media outlet? Google, I think I can speak for the masses when I say that we don't need no stinkin' Google Plus. Concentrate your efforts elsewhere instead of trying to capitalize on the social media train. But, let me just ask you this, Google: What's next? Blogger? Are you going to take that too? Because all I can hear right now is a slow, rising chant that sounds a lot like, "wordpress, Wordpress, WOrdpress, WORdpress, WORDpress!" But, let's not get me too fired on my issues with Google lately. That's another post entirely.
So, what are your thoughts on Picnik's closing? What do you plan to do with your photos?
