Second-Time Moms Save Money
As a mother of one child I can admit that when I was pregnant, I fell into the trap of overspending on baby products. Devin who is now four was my first child, so of course I only wanted the best for him, so I bought only name brand items. I wasn't willing to buy anything second hand nor did I want to accept any hand-me-downs. Now, I am looking back and realizing some of the things I spent so much money on were unneccessary.
In the below video, Leading Baby Products Expert, Sandra Gordon discusses the finding of a recent UK survey, which revealed that second-time moms spend less money than first-time moms. Sandra says this UK survey's findings also tend to hold true for moms in the US. Sandra will share great tips to help you save money on your little one.
I am no expert but I'd have to agree with these fndings. Over the years, I have learned that a lot of the things I bought were a waste. I could have saved money by buying the store brand or other things I totally could have gone without. Let me just say whomever is wise enough to buy second hand is in for a treat, if they buy my items. Most of the things that I sell have only been used or worn a few times, if at all.
