Semi Homemade oreo chocolate cake

Last night I was faced with a "dilemma", I bought a giant box of oreo cookies some time back and noone has been eating them. They will expire in about two weeks... What to do?

I tried the homemade oreo chocolate cake but I found it to liquid-y and time consuming so I decided to try this;

- 1 boxed chocolate cake mix

- 1 roll of oreo cookies crushed ( filling included)

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon of rum extract

- 2 tablespoons of melted butter

- 2 tablespoons of buttermilk

- canned creamcheese frosting

Follow the instruction on the box to " assemble" the cake batter, add the extracts and mix for two minutes until smooth. Add the crushed oreo cookies a little at the time followed by the buttermilk and butter. Pour in a greased Bunt cake pan and bake at 325 for 40-50 minutes depending on your oven.

When the cake is done take it out and let it cool for 30 minutes.

Heat some of the creamcheese frosting in the microwave and drizzle it over your cooled cake, sprinkle with some more crushed oreo cookies and TA-DA!! You are all done.

Enjoy your easy, semi homemade Oreo chocolate cake.
