I'm celebrating Christmas with my family today on very little sleep, because I came home from midnight Mass at 2:00 am and laid in bed until 3:00 am wondering if I really should have had all that coffee before church and then was awakened at 5:45 by my very excited seven-year-old son, who patted me gently on the arm and said, "Merry Christmas, Mom." The rest of the day is a blur of presents and Bloody Marys and a nap on the sofa and hours of racing Hot Wheels cars because Santa brought us the kids a Hot Wheels track.

I am happy, but very very tired, and also barely dressed because it's a holiday and I never left the house. Also I am all shopped out because those Hot Wheels tracks were incredibly difficult to find this year (but completely worth it).
