Need an answered prayer?

JMJ Do you have a prayer request? A special need?  Well, I spent all night placing a live webcam to Lourdes, France on my website, including a little mailbox to their prayer request email.  All kinds of weird computer problems kept cropping up, and I kept offering them up as a prayer, which did help to keep me from being annoyed.  Then... This morning I got an email from a friend who told me that today is OUR LADY OF LOURDES FEAST DAY!  Wow.  I had no idea!  That is just so cool... ...more

Love....Bah Humbug!

I realized that I've spent the last year or so in a state of virtual nonexistence. To be perfectly honest, I can without hesitation say that the individual formerly known as Gina is no longer on this earth....more

Counting it Down

The clock is ticking.  Time is moving really quickly.  And there’s still so much left to do. One of my plans for tonite, aside from making dinner and doing laundry is going to be wedding stuff.  I have to give my dad a dollar amount that I think would cover things.  This is difficult for me because I don’t want to ask for too much.  I actually don’t want to ask for anything at all, but he offered, and I am his only daughter, and this will be my only wedding. ANYway, there is still so much to do. ...more

I'm your typical bachelor......Good looking, well built with light eyes, intelligent, and capable of talking a cat off a fish truck...Nevertheless, the intention of this blog is not to come off as an arrogant prick...Rather, to provide insight for women as to why men do, act, think, say and erect the way they do....I feel my past experiences, whether a relationship, my interfering in one, or just plain whoring around serve as proper credentials to feed the curiosity that torments women across the world on a minute-to-minute basis during their conquest to discovering "The One"... ...more

How to Marry an Internet Serial Killer: Throw a Surprise Wedding

I was never one of those women who pictured herself in a big white gown, walking down the aisle. For me it was more about getting married in Las Vegas by an Elvis impersonator on the Strip and having a great party in New York afterward....more

Jaycee Dugard – Hell On Earth and Resilience

I have been fascinated with the Jaycee Dugard case since the media ran with it many weeks ago. A small, beautiful, innocent child, being held captive for 18 YEARS. Eighteen years, much of it spent in a backyard tent and shed that resembled something out of a horror movie. But it didn’t end with an eighteen year captivation. Raped over and over again by her kidnapper, she mothered two children in the process, Angel now 15, and Starlit now 11. ...more

I feel the need in speed~

Here’s the deal; the facts are in. At least 50% of marriages don’t make it—which, if you’re a gambler, is slightly better than a crap shoot – this is what I told, when asked for a comment about Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's marriage. ...more

On occasion I come across a unique & talented vendor that I want my readers to become aware of. Pink Lily Press is exactly that…talented. I love the chic styles Jennifer creates (who started the business in 2007, and currently runs the business out of her townhouse). I’m always inspired by people who are inspired by what they love to do and start their own business in their homes....more

My Wedding Day: The Wonderful. The Difficult. The Unexpected.

I have never been one to take things at face value. Every nuance of life, for me, is measured out carefully like the unfamiliar cadence of a new language. Unrestricted by the unwritten rules, the double entendre, or the tricky turn of a native phrase, I seek out only the most basic truths. I anchor myself in the most simplistic foundations. In my reach for existence, I am uncluttered by invisible boundaries.     ...more
