Okay, I am writing for a little sympathy, perhaps some suggestions and because I ran out of Ativan and it seems some things are bothering me a little more at the moment than usual.
Here’s the deal, my dear fellow bloggers, I entered the blogging world only a few short months ago, but considering that at that time I had no idea what a blog was, I’ve come a long way, Baby! First, I tried to decipher whether the word, “blog,” was a noun or an adjective. “I’m going to blog the kids into doing their homework,” or “You’re such a blog!” just didn’t sound right. So, I did my research, figured out what a blog was and how to set up a blog of my very own. Voila. www.sexandsuburbiastories.blogspot.com was born.
I write funny, fairly short, magazine-type columns about life for women once they have made that journey from single sex in the city to married sex in suburbia. 20-somethings versus 40-somethings. It’s just quirky stories about life.
In any event, the reason for this post is because I need help and advice. I feel as though I am spending so much time writing and nobody is reading my writing! If they do go to my blog, they don’t ever comment, and that’s even more irritating. I have listed my blog on this site as well as on Digg, but still nothing. I have commented on other people’s sites and received no responses. I thought the blogging community was supposed to be friendly and generous?????
Please help! How do I make my blog more visible and attract more traffic?
