Shopping vs. Beat The Clock
Most decisions requiring us to spend money quickly are better made after careful consideration. "Buy now, act FAST!!! or the First 20 callers only will be able to get this" are an obvious push to get us to make an emotional response. Usually a less than rational purchase.
"I'll think about it", "I'll get back to you" or "I'd like some time to consider this" are responses to use to enable us to breathe and make room for our logic to step back in. To give ourselves time to figure out if we want to spend our money or not and the long term consequences.
If the offer ends because we don't act immediately, it may not be a deal after all
