The Shortest Blog Post Ever: An 11-word story in honor of 11/11/11

—MorgueFile Image

Just when I thought I'd have to pack it all in (so much to do on a freelance project, groceries to buy, a dog to walk), Twitter inspired me yet again.

Some writers have started a hashtag— #11words—in honor of 11/11/11. Not sure if this counts as a NaBloPoMo post, but if it does, I can get back to work for my client! If it doesn't, I hope someone will tell me!

So here it is, my contribution to #11words:

Evelyn would never forget the day when people stopped recognizing her.

If you would like to read more, please drop me a line in the comments section below. (It can be more than 11 words.) :-)

I'll work on the story and post it on my blog at a future date.

P.S. A great source for free art is www.morguefile.com. In most cases, they don't require attribution; you can download, crop, and post at will.
