Well, I admit, I should have been up cleaning my kitchen, but instead I was holding down the couch.

...rocking my cranky 7-month-old baby girl, Harper, to sleep (hopefully?) with my foot.

Lately, she's feeling the burn of separation anxiety and has given up naps in her bedroom. But feels cozy and will drift off when she's near me, as I sip my coffee and type a little.

Writing a letter on dearelder.com to my sweet grandson who is in the MTC getting ready for a mission to the North Carolina Raleigh mission. It is rainy today and I should get off the computer, get dressed, and try and get a few things done. My little dog is asleep behind my head on the chair woofing in his sleep. Love that!

At 10:00...I was fixin' to make myself a sweetened lime juice. I'm a new transplant to the St. George desert and need hydrating...only the water here doesn't take so good so I mask it with lime!

I am jealous I wasn't asleep at 10 a.m. too! But I got to do a community marketing call with all the volunteers I work with. They're pretty awesome, inspirational people and dispersed all over the world. Makes up a bit up for the early rise ;-)

At 10am, I was just walking into work late and trying to find my breakfast. Even though I had a late start to my day, I have been productive.

I was chillin' with my boys. They are the two most spectacular things in my life. I'm going to miss this when I have to go back to work and my 10am's are filled with books, computer screens and wiggin' teenagers.

I'd much rather have this every morning, wouldn't you?

10 AM and I am still in dreamland. I'm not sure when I was last up (by choice) at 10 am. LOL In fact, I should probably go to bed soon. I'll think about it. ;)

Well, today, absent a child (he's with his Dad in LA) and a job (I just got laid off) I spent my morning poolside--studying for the GRE. I'm in the process of applying to PhD programs, while currently working on my Masters. So, this picture may seem quite odd, but it's what I was doing (and thinking about when my boy gets back, I miss him).

Anyway, I thought I'd apply because I'm a poor/student/single mom and by golly I could use a hundred bucks!

Let's see. At 10am, I believe that I was changing the second pair of wet undies, or perhaps I was wiping poo. I was at the park with my 2.5 year old daughter and 5 month old son. I was the one chasing my daughter around the park, reminding her not to eat the dirty cheerios on the ground, or to say please before begging others for their food. {And, yes, we brought our own, but she is like a pigeon.} Or maybe we were losing the second pair of crocs this summer. They never did make it home with us. If you ask what I was doing at noon, I would respond that I was removing the tiny piece of glass from my daughter's foot {see lost crocs}, while soothing my now frustrated infant son. Thankfully, the day ended with us enjoying lavender cranberry lemonade at the local farmer's market, barefoot and band-aided.

Because pretty much every Monday at 10:00AM, I'm sitting at my desk working, either with my speaker phone and a conference call going, or just doing email or some other corporate drone stuff.

I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I probably do. hhaha My 8 to 5 life Mon-Fri is pretty monotonous. But... it pays the bills and for that I AM grateful.

Hi Nie!
At 10:00 a.m. I was lying on the couch watching Regis and Kelly. I never watch morning T.V. or T.V. at all really. No, I'm actually very organized about my day and have a plan. This morning I got up early (6:30), took a shower and ran to get a shirt at the dry cleaners for my husband who has a very important meeting today. When I got back from the cleaners my stomach was feeling angry and then I ran to the bathroom and threw up. All morning I was on the couch while my two sweet daughters took care of me. I gave Sara my oldest (5yrs. ) the duty of playing mom for the day. She was thrilled about that and kept reminding Sophie (my youngest at 2 1/2) of her authority. So far Sophie has been in timeout about 5 times; Sara's a strict mom. As I was lying there I couldn't help but laugh as Sara tried so hard to make me feel better. She wrapped me in a blanket, placed a trash bucket by the couch, and reassured me Sophie would be taken care of. Every few minutes she would run in to place the back of her hand on my forehead, and continually ask, "Do you feel like you need to throw up mom?" Sophie gave me her stuffed bunny and blankie which was a true act of love and concern because she never gives up her blankie. Then with her big brown eyes, and sweet little voice said, "You go to sleep now momma".
Then at around 10:30 I ran to the bathroom because I was feeling sick again, and Sara screams, "SOPHIE, SOPHIE, MOM"S GONNA THROW UP! COME ON!" Then I turned and responded with a "YUCK"! Not what I want my girls to see and I like privacy. Anyways, I made it into the bathroom and locked the door before they could get there. Oh, and Sara managed to make lunch for both of them today. That consisted of PB&J, wheat thins and honey mustard pretzels. Who needs fruit anyways?? I'm feeling better now and ready to get some things done! My girls kept me entertained at 10:00 a.m. this morning as they took care of me and that was nice.

At 10am today, I was lying in bed, trying to recover from a migraine. The husband was asleep beside me, recovering from a very nasty cold he has.

Happily, we work from home, so have the flexibility to do things like this.

My three and five year old where playing house, dressed up and all. While I sat back laughing at what my life has become. Love it! see you tomorrow 10 o'clock.

As a confirmed nightowl, I'm sometimes sleeping at 10:00 AM. However, at 10:00 PM, I'm usually just gettin' wound up to either create a game or write in one of my many projects, one of which is sharing summa' my wild unique life's experiences, by way of my blog. ( http://yayashome.blogspot.com ) That is, I think that living through a volcanic eruption, a tornado and animal antics is rather unique.

Often, 10:00 PM is about the time I'm working on
